With my bit of time, I worked on bee blocks-- my first to dos of the year because I'd fallen behind in one bee. Thankfully, I've got very understanding bee members and more importantly, I'm now caught up!
Francine's Drunk Love blocks for Sewn Together Bee
Flaun's It's a Stretch block for Sewn Together Bee
Mary's Potager blocks for Sewn Together Bee
January Joy.do.Good.Stitches X Marks the Spot blocks
In addition to my bee blocks, I've been able to catch up on some blog reading (I was still in December in some cases!) and am loving these tutorials, tips, and pretties:
- hanging storage bins
- scrappy trip along. Yeah, I've fallen for this...there are so many beautiful inspirations to be found on the flickr group, but I'm also loving Monica's take on it.
- If I had an e-reader, I'd make this e-reader cover. Leave it to Charlotte to make it look so easy to make!
- anti-voodoo block piecing tutorial-- eek! Fantastic tip here on how to chain piece patchwork.
- I'll be waiting for this paper pieced pattern by Elizabeth of Don't Call me Betsy to come out!

ReplyDeleteyour blocks look great! And I don't know about you, but I'm hoping that mini Elizabeth made is coming to me in the swap! Even if I'm not her partner maybe I could use my swap mama abilities to bribe her into sending it to me! lol. :)
ReplyDeletePS less than a month until we're at QuiltCon!
Wonderful blocks. Most of them are very unusual.
